Should you swab the stopper of a BRAND NEW PROPOFOL VIAL?

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 21:30 | Deleted user
According to the package inserts for both propofol and Diprivan, strict aseptic techniques should be used in preparing and administrating the agents. The agents and vials should be disinfected with 70% isopropyl alcohol prior to administration. Do you swab the propofol vial before use?
